Terms
Terms of use
Last updated 6 October 2026. These terms cover the website at events.com.mt, the organiser pages at events.mt, the Events.mt and Events.mt Manager apps, and the Events.mt connectors for AI apps such as Claude and ChatGPT. By using any of them you accept these terms.
Who we are
Events.com.mt is run by OmnSoft, Malta. We provide ticketing, guest registration and door scanning for event organisers. Each event belongs to its organiser; we run the service it is sold and managed through.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account, including by apps you connect to it.
- Give correct details. Tickets and invitations carry the names and email addresses you enter.
- You can close your account at any time, as the privacy policy explains.
Tickets and invitations
- Tickets are sold on behalf of the event's organiser. The event, its programme, any changes, cancellations, refunds and admission at the door are the organiser's responsibility, under the conditions shown on the event page and at checkout.
- Payments are made through the payment provider you choose at checkout, under its own terms. We never see your card number.
- A ticket is valid once. Its QR code admits one person; do not share or copy it.
- An invitation link is for the company it was sent to. The company names the people who use its places; the organiser can change or withdraw an invitation.
Organisers
- Organisers are responsible for their events and for what they publish about them.
- Organisers invite and email only people they have a lawful reason to contact, and handle their guests' details as data protection law requires.
- Organisers decide who is on their team and are responsible for what their team does with the organiser's account.
- We may hide an event or suspend an organiser that breaks the law or these terms, or that puts guests at risk.
AI connectors
- Our connectors let an AI app you choose look up public events, or, once an organiser signs in, manage that organiser's events. They are optional and free.
- Your conversation with the AI app is governed by that app's own terms and privacy policy. We receive only what the AI app sends to the connector.
- An AI app acts on your instructions with your account. Check what it proposes before you approve changes, emails or cancellations; you are responsible for them as if you had made them yourself. Every change is recorded for your team.
- AI apps can make mistakes. Check important details, such as dates, places and guest names, on the website.
- Some things are deliberately not available through the connectors: team members, scanning stations, payments, refunds and deleting events stay on the website.
- We may limit how often the connectors can be called, and suspend access that is used to harm the service or other people.
Using the service fairly
- Do not try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, to get round security or limits, or to disrupt the service.
- Do not copy the service's data in bulk or resell tickets in breach of an organiser's conditions.
Our responsibility
We work to keep the service available and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for events, which belong to their organisers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Maltese and EU law, or our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and we will tell organisers about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
